Cultural itinerary in Sicily region

Arrival with fight and meeting with the assistant/guide and private bus. The guide will delivery whispers that will be at your disposal for all the tour.

Lunch on your own.

In the afternoon guided tour of Palermo with Piazza Pretoria, Quattro Canti, the Baroque churches San Domenico and Oratory Santa Cita.

Check in in a 4-star hotel. Dinner in hotel. Overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to the medieval village of Monreale to visit Cathedral and cloister. Back to Palermo and typical lunch in an Osteria (or similar) for a street food menu.

In the afternoon we continue with the Arab-Norman Route: Palazzo dei Normanni and the Palatine Chapel, The Cathedral.

Walk along the street where there are Teatro Massimo and Teatro Politeama and visit to the Markets (Vucciria o Capo).

Back to hotel, dinner on your own and overnight.

Departure to Sciacca (arrival at 09.30), medieval town that preserves many works of artistic interest, with its ancient walls and the access doors “Door Palermo”, “door San Salvatore” and “door San Calogero” that lead in the rich historical centre.

Taste the typical ice cream with almonds or pistachio!

Continue to the scale of the Turks, a rocky wall that rises to peak on the sea along the coast between Realmonte and Porto Empedocle.

Lunch at Home Restaurant with a typical Sicilian homemade menu.

In the afternoon, transfer to Agrigento, to the ancient area of Akgragas, the present territory of Agrigento, historic crossroads of the Mediterranean. Visit the beautiful together in the Valley of the Temples, an archaeological site, one of the most representative of the Greek civilization classical, inserted in 1998 by UNESCO in the list of World Heritage.

Accommodation in a 4 star hotel. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

Departure to Piazza Armerina, where you will visit the Roman Villa del Casale with its 3500 sqm of mosaics.  Lunch at the Azienda Agricola with a rural menu.

Transfer to Caltagirone, called in ancient “Queen of the mountains”. The beauty derive from wealth, and the latter on the skill of the artisans of the ceramics.

Transfer to Ragusa, accommodation in a 4 star hotel. Dinner in hotel and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel and check out.

Departure to Ragusa Hybla and guided tour.

Departure to Ionian Sicily with stop for the guided tour of the Baroque city of Noto.

Departure to Siracusa and accommodation in a 4 star hotel.

Dinner on your own and overnight.

Departure to visit Syracuse, the most beautiful Greek city in Sicily. You will visit the archaeological area with the Greek Theater, the Roman Amphitheater, the Latomie and then Ortigia, the historic centre of the city, including the entrance to the cathedral.

Lunch on your own in Ortigia.

Depart to the necropolis Pantalica and visit. At the end transfer to Catania and accommodation in a 4 star hotel.

Dinner in hotel and overnight.

Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Etna Volcan – complete tour, including cableway until mt 2.920, alpine guides and jeep 4×4.

The excursion on the Etna can vary depending on the climate and possible eruptions.

Lunch at the restaurant in the Etna area.

In the late afternoon visit the characteristic and secular city of Taormina, in particular the Greco-Roman Theater and the old town.
